Reliable, easy-to-operate G-Balers from Unlimited Recycling Resources LLC (URR) have made productivity problems a thing of the past at Marin Sanitary Service in California.

When John Oranje, owner of Marin Sanitary Service in California, shops for balers he does not hesitate to ask his maintenance staff members to closely inspect equipment he is considering buying. Along with the company’s bottom line, they ultimately will be the ones who benefit from a wise purchase.

When Oranje brought them to look at the G-Baler model GB-1111F-2518 balers offered by California-based Unlimited Recycling Resources LLC (URR), he says the maintenance staffers “noticed right away the quality of these machines.”

He continues. “They also noticed the ease of use of the balers and that they would be very easy to maintain. They asked if we could purchase these instead of what we had.” Several months after buying two of the G-Baler single-ram balers, Oranje says the URR balers have been “very easy to operate, and it’s easy to train anyone to use these machines.”

Marin Sanitary Service, located about 20 miles north of Oakland in the Bay Area, takes in curbside single-stream recyclables and mixed construction and demolition (C&D) materials. The company uses a URR baler at the end of each of these processing lines.

Oranje cites the “heavy-duty construction, well-thought-out hydraulics and Siemens logic controllers” as among the reasons “I have not had a problem since we installed these balers.” He adds, “The balers have exceeded my expectations; they never miss a beat and are extremely reliable, easy to use and are built for the toughest environments.”

Matching the quality of the machinery has been the professionalism and responsiveness of the people at URR, says Oranje. “They have been a pleasure to work with. All their staff is polite and very eager to please,” he comments. “Support is huge in our industry and they are a phone call away.” Oranje singles out URR president and co-owner Dan Gregory as another reason he did not hesitate to purchase balers provided by the firm.

“When we decided on these balers, I bought them from a man who works on balers and not a salesman,” says Oranje regarding Gregory’s extensive background in the equipment sector. “I have known Dan for a long time. He used to do all our service work on our previous balers. We are in contact with Dan and his team constantly for a brief conversation on how the balers are performing. I could not be happier with the balers and the support that goes along with owning a URR baler.”

URR Vice President of Sales Randy Gibson says the company has a broad product line assembled to provide the right solution for recyclers of many materials in widely varying volumes. “Our team, combined, has more than 50 years of experience in this industry, and we draw on that to make sure we provide the best solution at the right price.”
