Chicago to host Capital Markets Conference

Waste Today magazine, a sister publication to Recycling Today, has introduced the Capital Markets Conference. This waste and environmental services industry event focuses on success strategies for companies that want to invest or access capital for growth and those considering mergers, acquisitions or sales.

The Capital Markets Conference is scheduled for Oct. 17-18, 2018, at the Marriott Chicago Downtown Magnificent Mile. This conference provides a blend of sessions to deliver analysis of numerous industry sectors and insights into the capital markets available to finance growth and business development.

The conference is designed for operators in the waste management, specialty waste, recycling and waste cleanup industries and for investment bankers, private equity firms, venture capitalists, banks and other financial market participants.

“We are excited to further our offerings in the waste management and environmental services sector,” Jim Keefe, Recycling Today Media Group publisher, says. “The environmental services industry continues to evolve through both technological changes and environmental management requirements. These combine to create increased capital requirements and unique investment opportunities. We felt the timing was right to bring professionals together for a face-to-face, high-value event.”

Industry executives currently scheduled to speak include Waste Connections CEO Ronald J. Mittelstaedt, Brown Gibbons Lang Managing Director Effram Kaplan and Comerica Bank Senior Vice President Joseph Ursuy.
